They can choose to get one after they've accomplished something important or completed a difficult challenge/task. On a side note Night Elf women can also be defined by their facial tattoos. You could say it shows where they were born as before The Sundering Night Elves lived all over the world. Pretty sure NE skin tone is just an aesthetic choice, I doubt it has any official lore significance. What examples in Lore are there of a Night Elf role that would best be represented by a Warrior, especially a protection warrior lugging a shield around? I had a vague concept of a kind of "temple guard/shieldmaiden" role attached to the Temple of the Moon and guarding the priestesses, but I've not really seen anything official.Īny comments or useful links to things that might make a Night Elf Warrior feel more ingrained into traditional NE culture would be appreciated!

I've generally only seen pinky-purple skins on "official" artwork, which made me wonder if the rather standout GREEN option was something special, indicating something unique, be it birth area, calling, some kind of additional connection to Cenarius. There are light/medium/dark varieties of an orangey-pink and a greyish-purpley-pink, and then three more unique colours, one of which is light grassy green and one is light blue. There are 9 skin tones available in chargen for night elves.
Couple of quick questions as someone planning on rolling a Night Elf Warrior in Classic for aesthetic reasons - I'd like to try and tie the character concept as closely as possible in to the lore for RP reasons.įirstly - Skin Tones.
